In 1964, the Johannes Spring in Bad Füssing was discovered by the medical couple Dr. Angelika and Dr. Eduard Zwick. On 22 August, they discovered thermal water containing sulphur, which still bubbles up from a depth of 1,000 meters. This discovery marked the beginning of the Johannesbad Group's success story, which is still fed by this spring today.

60 years ago, the foundation stone for the Johannesbad in its current form was laid with the development of the Johannes spring. This must be celebrated! There is an exciting program for both young and old guests on 21 and 22 September, with a number of highlights. On the 21st, the day begins with face painting for children, continues with a swimming duck race in the current channel and an inflatable boat regatta, before the evening draws to a relaxed close with music from the 60s to the present day. The 22nd then offers a morning pint together in the thermal spa restaurant and guided tours of the thermal spa for all those interested.
The Oktoberfest will take place again this year in Bad Füssing. No, this is not a misprint. On the contrary, the organizers have put together a remarkable program that can definitely keep up with the Munich original. In addition to the traditional procession, guests can also look forward to the beer tapping and the group "Dirndl Rocker".
